The Black Hill, Wendouree, Buninyong and Brown Hill pools are all ready to go for the summer season, while the Eureka Pool opened on November 1.
All of the pools are managed by the YMCA apart from the Brown Hill pool, which is community operated.
Entry prices have risen by just 10 cents for adult, adult concession and children’s entry at all the pools apart from Brown Hill.
School group, family and season tickets have remained the same as last year for all pools.
A Ballarat City Council spokesperson said fees were set each year as part of the council’s budget process.
“The entry prices for the pools are set by the managing organisations and were advertised as part of council’s 2012/13 budget process and adopted in July 2012,” the spokesperson said.
The Black Hill, Wendouree and Buninyong pools will open from 12pm to 7pm on non-school days and 2pm to 7pm on school days until the school holidays begin, when the hours will vary again.
The Black Hill pool, which is located in Chisholm Street, and the Buninyong pool, in Forest Street, both have 25 metre solar-heated outdoor pools.
