Last Friday we asked readers to send in their “A Very Furry Christmas” pet photos. From dogs dressed as elves to cats making a home in a Christmas tree, there is no better time than Christmas to dress up your dog, cat or horse in a cute outfit for the silly season. Some even helped out with the wrapping of presents.
This week’s winner was a pair of cavalier King Charles spaniels that apparently sat very patiently while their owner William Louey took photos of them for his Christmas cards.
Mr Louey said he chose Chester, 2, and Murray, 4, because he loves the breed of dog.
“They are the cutest little dogs ever. They are like my shadow – everywhere I go, they go. We all celebrate Christmas, even the dogs. Their Christmas present is already underneath the tree,” he said.
Mr Louey, Chester and Murray can now add another Christmas present to the pile – a $50 PETstock voucher. A gallery of all the photos submitted is now online at thecourier.com.au.
NEXT WEEK...
Next week’s assignment is “Your Christmas Day”. Photos taken of unwrapping presents, enjoying a roast lunch with family or celebrations by the BBQ with friends and family is exactly what we’re looking for. If you’re photo is published next Friday you could win two movie tickets to the Regent Multiplex.
WHAT TO DO: Take “Your Christmas Day” photo and submit via the report button on The Courier’s iPhone and Android apps under the assignment “Your Christmas Day”.
