I LIVE nearby Chepstowe and was distressed by the destruction of the fires and its impact on the residents, and thank you for your reporting of the hardship facing our neighbours.
I remembered with pride the Australian spirit shown during the floods in Queensland when thousands of people volunteered to assist with the cleanup.
I would like to think that we could do the same for our neighbours and as such I would be prepared to help clean up properties that have been damaged.
