There are 2500 bonuses available to businesses, which aim to help mature age workers overcome barriers finding and keeping work.
Member for Ballarat, Catherine King, said the new incentives “encourage businesses to see mature age workers as valuable additions to their workforce.”

Nominate now for city’s heritage awards
The 2013 Ballarat Heritage Awards, which celebrate excellence and innovation in heritage areas, are now accepting nominations.
The awards are presented by Ballarat City Council in a range of categories with winners entered into the National Trust Regional State Awards.
Nominations close on Thursday, February 28 with an awards ceremony to follow on Friday, May 10.
