Victoria proving too good so far in under-18 cricket titles

VICTORIA remains unbeaten in the Cricket Australia national under-18 female championships in Ballarat.

The Vics yesterday stretched their winning sequence to four at the expense of South Australia and Tasmania in two twenty20 matches.

Three rounds remain with the finals to be played on Tuesday. Victoria reached 9-99 in its first assignment of the day and it proved more than enough against SA, 72, at the Western OVal.
