Bridget Hustwaite, 21, was narrowed down from a field of almost 6000 entrants, but now just three others remain in her way to becoming a part of the
For the past week, Ms Hustwaite has sweated it out as a top-20 finalist, which was yesterday reduced to just herself and a handful of men.
“I’m the only girl left,” she said.
“It’s so crazy — I can’t believe I’m even in this.”
Ms Hustwaite said if successful, the job would include lots of travelling, interviewing bands attending music festival and “living the life”.
“It’s all I want to do,” she said.
“It’s a massive surprise to get this far, but it’s definitely my dream job.”
This week Ms Hustwaite will travel to Sydney where she will undergo several challenges along with the other finalists, before a top two and eventually a winner is crowned on Saturday.
“It will be announced live on TV — so we don’t even know what’s going to happen.”

Ms Hustwaite said support from the Ballarat community had been amazing.
“It’s been incredible to get support from so many people,” she said.
“Even people who don’t know me at all have been coming up to say good luck — it’s been amazing.”
