Greater Western Sydney Giants today traded the former North Ballarat Rebel to the Bombers.
Aylett and Shaun Edwards were traded for selection 48 in the national draft.
He played just the one AFL game with the Giants.
Originally from Leeton in southern New South Wales, Aylett was recruited as a 17-year-old in a special draft a year before GWS joined the AFL home and away competition.
He was signed to a four-year deal under an an arrangement which allowed the Giants to recruit 16 youngsters from NSW over a four-year period.
Aylett studied Year 11 and Year 12 attended Ballarat Clarendon College in Ballarat, playing for the Rebels.
He represented NSW/ACT in the national under-18 championships in 2010 - the year he was secured by GWS.
Aylett joined the Giants at the end of 2010.
