It's a bit blustery out there, with a fairly strong northerly keeping things fairly balmy in Ballarat. It's already 18.3 degrees outside with a top of 26 forecast.
Last night was a belter of an evening, as the temperature stayed up in the mid teens throughout the night.
The party looks like coming to an end though, with a 90% chance that we will see some showers later today and possibly a thunderstorm tonight.
POLICE
Nothing of note to report, according to Ballarat police. Meanwhile, sniffer dogs at dance music festival Stereosonic in Melbourne have resulted in the arrest of 64 people for drug offences.
Police also seized a number of drugs as part of the operation, including ecstasy, amphetamine, cocaine, GHB and MDMA.
Fifty seven people received drug diversions, two people received cannabis cautions while four people were charged and bailed by police.
FIRE
Not much on the callout list for Ballarat fire services, however they attended a car fire out at Wendouree at midnight.
You may have seen the smoke drifting above Ballarat yesterday due to a number of planned burns being conducted by authorities.
Burns have taken place around Ballarat, Beaufort, Enfield, Smythesdale and Trentham to reduce bushfire fuel.
AMBULANCE
No major incidents in our region that required the attendance of paramedics.
VLINE
No issues if you're taking the train today, with Vline reporting a good service.
ON THE AGENDA
We will be heading out to the Alfredton Rotary Satellite Club to hear about their involvement in a new Rotary International pilot program.
