Davis manager Glenn McKenzie said there was a Santa roaming among buses this week, greeting passengers and giving lollies to passengers.
“It’s just that time of year to share in the celebration,” he said.
Mr McKenzie said about half a dozen bus drivers decorated their buses.
Bus driver Debbie Hustwaite, who has been nicknamed Mrs Tinsel by her colleagues, has been decorating her bus for a couple of years.
“I’ve got lots of tinsel, stars, bows and bits and pieces,” she said.
“The reaction of passengers is great – you get people commenting who you never think would say anything.”
Bus driver Chris Sedgwick, who drives a school bus, said the children in particular loved it.
He said it probably reminded them school was coming to an end.
“I just put a little bit of tinsel out at the start, but I’ve been adding more each day.”
The company will hold an in-house competition on Monday for the best dressed bus and best dressed employee, with each entrant to donate $5 to the 3BA Christmas Appeal.
