The Western Highway’s western bound lane was blocked off for about an hour about 2pm when two cars collided just west of the intersection of the highway and Church Road at Trawalla.
No-one was injured in the accident, which involved a Hyundai sedan and a 4WD which were both travelling in the same direction.
However, an 11-year-old girl was taken to the Ballarat Health Services Base Hospital with minor neck injuries and bruising after a two-car collision at the corner of Sturt and Errard streets at 4.50pm.
The girl was a rear seat passenger in one of the vehicles.
A man in his 80s received minor cuts after his vehicle broke down in the middle of a roundabout at the intersection of Burns and Tuaggra streets in Maryborough about 4pm.
The man was attempting to push his car out of the roundabout when he was injured.
