In a post from his Twitter account this morning, the Orica-GreenEdge rider said "don't worry about me I'll be there on the start line of the tt. ;). ready to go !!".
Durbridge pulled out of Sunday's Williamstown Criterium with a sore throat, but reassured people that he would be ready for Wednesday's Road Nationals time trial.
Ballarat rider Pat Shaw was out-sprinted by Durbridge in the Portarlington Criterium after they escaped midway through the race.
