A LOGGING truck that rolled over in Corindhap this afternoon missed crashing into the local pub by just metres.

Debbie Kendell from the Corindhap Hotel said the truck passed the building by about seven metres before it crashed.

"It was lucky he didn't take the pub out," she said.

Ms Kendell said the crash occurred about 1pm and the driver did not appear to be seriously injured.

"He was taken off in an ambulance, he had cuts to his leg and head, but he was up and walking around," she said.

"He was in a state of shock, obviously."
