Two teenagers led police on a high-speed chase for nearly an hour before hitting another car in south-east Melbourne.

When officers tried to stop a BMW sedan in Hallam about 2.30am on Tuesday, the driver ignored the calls and sped off, triggering a police pursuit.
Victoria Police spokesman senior constable Adam West said police chased the car around Hallam and Endeavour Hills at speeds between 60km/h and 130km/h.
The pursuit finally ended about 3.20am when the teenagers smashed into a Holden Commodore on Belgrave-Hallam Road, near the Monash Freeway overpass.
Two teenagers, a 17-year-old boy from Narre Warren and his 19-year-old passenger, from Hallam, were arrested at the scene and taken to Dandenong Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Commodore was not hurt.
Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman Grace Keyworth said one teenager had facial injuries, while the other hurt his face, hand and leg.
They will be interviewed at a later date.
