Let's see retired MPs brought back to the field and have more sensible and responsible retirement benefits that are commensurate with the rest of the hard-working community.
We all know they will scream 'unfair', claiming they work hard for their retirement.
Don't veterans also work hard for their retirement? If so, why have successive governments reduced veteran superannuation retirement allowances, including a reduction in 2009 to disabled veterans' compensation payments?
