AUSTRALIA has come up empty in the women's world badminton tournament, the Uber Cup, in India.

Featuring Ballarat's Tara Pilven, Australia lost each of its three round-robin matches 5-0.

It was no match for Korea, Indonesia and Singapore.

Pilven lost each of her singles games in straight sets

Korea went through the series unbeaten, with Indonesia second with two wins.
