In other news from the weekend a Ballarat night spot has been the location for a midnight robbery.
Police have confirmed they are investigating the robbery of a Camp Street hotel which occurred during the early hours of Saturday morning.
"Ballarat Police can confirm there was a robbery at Camp Street just after midnight," Superintendent Andrew Allen said.
"The investigation is continuing and local detectives are following up several lines of inquiry."
