A 17-year-old female has been airlifted to The Alfred Hospital with abdominal and neck injuries following a single-car crash in Victoria Park on Saturday morning.
In a serious but stable condition when flown out, she is now listed as stable.
The driver of the car, an 18-year-old male, was taken to Ballarat Base Hospital with back and neck soreness.
Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen said paramedics were called to the scene close to 11.30am, after the car collided with trees on Cedar Drive.
"Both occupants were out of the car when paramedics arrived," he said.
"They were then placed on spinal boards and immobilised."
