Ballarat Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 20-year-old Ballarat man after a number of online buyers were allegedly duped after using online sales websites.
Joel Smith Mc Corkindale has been charged with nine counts obtain property by deception and remanded in custody.
He will appear at the Ballarat Magistrates’ Court on 28 July.

Due to Regional Rail Link works, coaches will replace trains between Melbourne and Ballarat/Wendouree from Saturday 28 June until Tuesday 15 July.
Note: Coaches to Melbourne during morning peak will depart earlier than normal train times.
Trains will continue to operate between Ballarat and Ararat / Maryborough.
