WEATHER

Still cold, cold, cold. Don't let the four degree start hamper today's productivity. Ballarat will see a top of 10 degrees with clouds looming overhead. 

A shower or two, clearing in the morning, then a few showers later this afternoon and evening.

Winds north to northwesterly 20 to 30 km/h turning westerly 20 to 25 km/h in the morning then tending northwesterly 30 to 40 km/h in the middle of the day.

POLICE

Ballarat police had nothing of interest to report over night. 

Police are appealing for public assistance to help find a missing teenager. 

Skye Kiervan, 13-years-old has been missing since 30 June from her home in Keilor. 

It is believed Skye could be in the Melton, Ballarat or Werribee areas after several sightings over the past weeks. 

Skye is described as caucasian, 155cm tall, thin build, with shoulder length straight brown hair.

FIRE

A dozen volunteeer firefighters from Ballarat City Fire Station attended training on Tuesday night. 

The training involved an inspection of the MRI machine at Ballarat Base Hospital. 

AMBULANCE

Paramedics have nothing of interest to report from over night.

V/LINE

Aside from a 10 minute delay to the 5.22am Wendouree to Southern Cross service, all other trains appear to be running to schedule.
