Details: Supporting an evolving display of more than 80 stalls of regional produce from seasonal fruit and vegetables, organic produce, bread, cheese, meat, wine, oils and delicacies to pigs, chooks, stock feed, cut flowers, plants and seedlings together with live and local music. Wander the heritage precinct of Talbot, have a chat to the farmers, connect with producers, meet the makers. Sample the food and wine tastings on offer. Inglenook Dairy will be there with their locally produced milk and cream, Michael from Bet Bet with his freerange eggs and Sprout Bakery from Castlemaine supplying fresh sourdough bread. Free entry. From Africa With Love exhibition
When: Saturday and Sunday, 12 noon to 4pm.
Where: Backspace Gallery, Huyghue House, Alfred Deakin Place and Police Lane, Ballarat
Details: Avid wildlife photographer Shanna Love brings the love of animals to love, providing us with a window into the relationships between the animals themselves. Whether showing affection, or expressing anger or sadness, Shanna strives to capture images of her subjects that evoke emotions in us, as well. Gallery is open between Thursday and Sunday. Redan Wetlands Community Fun Day

Where: Redan Wetlands, Orion Street, Sebastopol
Details: The free day includes interactive displays on Ballarat’s wildlife and flora. Stormwater and water watch displays and listen to talks on the history of the Yarrowee River. Help clean-up Ballarat’s favourite river, hand in a bag of rubbish for entry into a free raffle. Stay for lunch, free hot soup provided. Big Garage Sale

Where: Creswick Railway Precinct, Reed Street, Creswick
Details: Lots of bric a brac, clothes, books and many other items. The local community has been generous and there’s loads of items to recycle. There will also be craft stalls and all sorts on offer, so there is sure to be something for everyone. Items will also be on sale in the Heritage Station main building as well as in the Goods Shed. Devonshire Tea available. Car Parking is on hand in the Goods Shed car park (at top of Raglan Street) or on the heritage Station side, best entry is via Reed Street, Creswick (or Victoria Street).
