ONE woman has died and another man was critically injured after a tour bus left the Great Ocean Road east of Princetown on Thursday afternoon.

The tour bus, which was carrying seven people, left the road about 2pm and travelled 20 metres down a ravine and into a creek bed.
Emergency services were called to the scene near the intersection of The Boulevard.
A female passenger died at the scene and a male passenger has been airlifted to The Alfred hospital with critical injuries.
The male bus driver and another passenger will also be airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Three other passengers received minor injuries and will be taken to Geelong Hospital.
The Great Ocean Road is closed to traffic between Princetown and Gellibrand River roads.

It's believed six Korean tourists were aboard, travelling from Melbourne.
