POLICE
An Eastern region police member has been charged following a Professional Standards Command investigation into an alleged assault in Swan Hill in 2011.
The male Leading Senior Constable was charged on summons on Tuesday with intentionally cause injury and recklessly cause injury following the incident in Swan Hill on 11 June 2011.
The police officer has been transferred to non-operational duties and will appear in the Swan Hill Magistrates' Court on 16 September.
FIRE
CFA volunteers took part in situational awareness training over night.
The volunteers from across the region learnt what to look for and how to manage a fire when you first arrive, how to assess the probabilites and establish facts at the scene.
AMBULANCE
Paramedics reported no trauma cases on Tuesday night.
