The Lady Devils will face off against South at Rokewood at 3pm.
Only a win will ensure the club remains in Football Federation Victoria’s women’s state league one for 2015.
Star striker Lulu Al-Huneidi headlines the ins this week after missing Ballarat’s last match with a lingering illness.
Lady Devils coach Rick Romein said his side had enjoyed a strong week in training, but conceded that Al-Huneidi would have to be managed carefully.
“Lulu will be more of an impact player. We need to make sure we look after her,” Romein said.
“Quite a few girls are very good utility players and we can throw them into different roles, but we’ll be going in with the same structure.”
South Springvale overcame Eltham for the right to play the Lady Devils in a thriller last Friday.
The club won via a penalty shootout after finishing regular time at 3-3, and playing out extra time to a 1-1 scoreline.
Romein said there would be no excuses for his team come Sunday.
“We’ve had a fantastic half year. We’ve probably only had the one bad game in the last nine or 10,” he said.
“We’re a very smart team and there’ll be opportunities for us. Whether or not we take them is another thing.”
