The former Ballarat jockey will now sit out the entire four-day Flemington carnival with her ban set to expire at midnight on November 12.
Payne was suspended for her winning ride aboard Prince of Penzance in the Moonee Valley Gold Cup, 2500m, on Saturday.
She was found guilty of careless riding near the 400m, which stewards said caused Chad Schofield to be dislodged from Albonetti. Stewards said Payne allowed Prince Of Penzance to improve into a tight run between Black Tycoon and Precedence, causing Albonetti to clip heels.
The careless riding charge was rated in the high range and the ban will be served concurrently with a 10-meeting suspension for her effort aboard Akavoroun in the Crystal Mile, 1600m, on the same day.
Prince of Penzance's chances of gaining a Melbourne Cup start were boosted on Tuesday following the withdrawal of Gai Waterhouse-trained The Offer from the race.
The Weir galloper has now climbed to 29th in the order of entry, with the 24-horse field to be finalised on Saturday night.
If Prince of Penzance does not gain a Cup start, connections will press onto the Queen Elizabeth Stakes, 2600m, on November 8.
