White is unbeaten on 88 with Golden Point 3-176.
The Golden Point and North Ballarat match was one of only two firsts fixtures to get started.
Ballarat-Redan struggled to 92 against Napoleons-Sebastopol at Napoleons.
The other three matches - Darley v East Ballarat at Darley, Brown Hill v Mt Clear at Western Oval and Coronet City v Wendouree at Ballarat High School - were washed out and will be played as one-day encounters next Saturday.
Golden Point began shakily to be 1-4 and then 2-35 with the loss of Andrew Falkner for 14.
It was then that Simon Ogilvie, 41 (three fours, two sixes) joined White.
They put on 72 in close to even time before Ogilvie was trapped in front by Leigh Lorenzen.
Playing a captain's knock, White then combined with Damian Klein, 20 not out, to add another 69.
White hit seven boundaries in his 192-minute stay at the crease.
Ballarat-Redan was under pressure from the outset.
The Two Swords looked like struggling to set any kind of target at 6-36.
Fortunately Greg Wakeling, 22, and Chris Egan, 29 not out, managed to halt the rot with a 36-run stand.
Once they were broken up though, the end was not far away.
Egan spent almost two hours in the centre keeping the Naps-Sebas attack at bay.
Matt Ringin was the destroyer.
He claimed 6-27 off 14.2 overs and continues a great start to the season for the paceman.
This gives him 15 wickets at 5.9 runs apiece in three innings
Justin Ringin took 2-16 and Liam Rigby 2-31.
