Ballarat's best food, wine, coffee and hospitality for the past year will be revealed in a special ceremony at St Anne's Winery in Myrniong from 6.30pm. 

Local restaurateurs will compete in 16 categories, including best unlicensed and licensed cafe; best relaxed, hotel, contemporary and casual dining venue and best chef, front of house and customer service. 

The prestigious Golden Plate State Award will also unveil the best regional restaurant in Ballarat, Geelong and Bendigo. 

The Mercato at Daylesford was crowned the 2013 Ballarat-Daylesford Regional Winner. 

Queenscliff's Vue Grand Hotel was crowned the 2013 State Winner Overall.
