Police are hunting a stalker who has been caught masturbating in a woman's home east of Melbourne.

The man entered the woman's home in the Gippsland town of Sale after asking to use her toilet earlier this month.
He remained in the bathroom for some time, before the woman caught him masturbating.
The man allegedly offered the woman money to join him, police said.
The same man is believed to have entered a number of other women's homes in Sale in recent weeks after asking to use the toilet, or claiming his car had broken down.
He returned to one woman's house twice and on the second occasion called her by her name - which she had not told him.
Police have released an image of the alleged stalker, who is believed to be aged in his 20s and about 180 centimetres tall, with a medium build, short brown hair and brown eyes.
He drove a white ute, with a flat silver tray, police said.
