A ute driver has crashed his car after allegedly driving erratically at speeds estimated to be up to 150km/h.

Police have charged a Narre Warren man, 24, after an unmarked police car saw the ute driving erratically in Hallam on Friday night.
After police put on their flashing lights, the ute sped off down Hallam Road where police reported estimated speeds of 150km/h in the pursuit.
The ute allegedly veered onto the wrong side of the road and crashed into a traffic island, launching the vehicle into a power pole.
Police say this caused significant damage to the car but the driver was undeterred, driving the vehicle before dumping it in Willow Drive and running off.
Police caught up with the driver and an inspection of the ute allegedly discovered a firearm, drugs and cash.
The driver was charged with reckless conduct endangering life, possessing a firearm, drugs of dependence and proceeds of crime and other vehicle and weapons related offences.
He was remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
