Mix 94.5 has ended the year on a high after it not only secured its spot as Perth's favourite radio station, but usurped the breakfast radio crown from ABC's Eoin Cameron.

It's the second time this year the 94.5 breakfast trio of Dean Clairs, Shane McFarlane and Kymba Cahill has claimed the top spot in the Perth radio ratings.
The station's morning (hosted by Ross Edwards) and afternoon (hosted by Simone Heng) also finished first in their respective categories.
Despite the impressive result, mix 94.5 announced major changes to its lineup last week. Casual presenter Pete Curulli received a call-up to co-host the drive slot alongside Lisa Shaw, with movement throughout the roster as Tim Lordan returns to mornings from 12 January.
Radio 6PR saw slight drops in audience share across the board, with only the evenings timeslot (Perth Tonight with Chris Ilsley) maintaining its listenership. The drive shift dropped slightly for Paul Murray's final survey, with his replacement Adam Shand to take over from early next year.
Nova 93.7 sagged slightly in key timeslots and demographics, but maintained top spot in drive (Kate, Tim and Marty) and held onto third place in breakfast (Nathan, Nat and Shaun) and second place overall.
Alternative station Triple J gained major ground among young adults, with one third of listeners between 18 and 24 tuning in at some point during the day.
