The private hospital will prepare a special Christmas menu for its breakfast, lunch and dinner services.
Patients and their families have the choice of ordering traditional Christmas fare, including ham, turkey and pudding.
Hotel services manager Adrian Kenny said the hospital kitchen always catered for special occasions.
"Christmas is still a special day for the patients that can't be at home," Mr Kenny said.
"We want to make our patients comfortable."
About 150 lunches and 120 dinners will be prepared for the day.
Head chef David Adams sourced the Christmas ham from a Ballarat butcher.
"We get our ham from Davis Wholesale Meat," he said.
"It's a Bertocchi bone-in-leg ham."
Mr Adams said he selected the ham for its quality.
"It's guaranteed Australian pork," he said.
"It's harder to tell with Virginian and Champagne hams that are sold in the supermarket."
The turkey has been sourced from Dadswells Bridge.
Vegetarian options also feature on the menu.
A pumpkin, fetta and spinach tart and Tuscan vegetable frittata are offered as mains during the lunch and dinner services.
The hospital began preparing meals for the Christmas service on Monday.
Christmas bon-bons and a small gift will accompany meals on the day.
