The hunt is on for the prowler who indecently assaulted the 23-year-old woman in her home before jumping off her balcony and running away.
Ballarat Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team investigators have been told a woman was asleep in a bedroom of her Raglan Street home when she awoke to discover an intruder in the room around 5am on December 20.
The unknown man indecently assaulted her then jumped from a bedroom window to the garden below.
He was last seen running south along Raglan Street South.
The male is described as having a small build, short hair, was unshaven and wearing a jacket and pants.
Detectives from the Ballarat SOCIT are investigating the incident and are keen to speak to any witnesses.
