A woman has died after her car collided with a truck and then crashed into a power pole on the Bellarine Peninsula.

The woman was the sole occupant of the Honda sedan, which collided with a truck at the intersection Portalington-Queenscliff Road, south east of Geelong about 3pm on Monday. .
The sedan then crashed into a power pole, Victoria Police said.
The driver had been travelling along Swan Bay Road when the crash occurred.
Senior Constable Melissa Seach said the woman died at the scene of the accident and has not been formally identified.
The truck driver was taken to Geelong hospital with minor injuries.
The latest fatality brings the provisional road toll to eight, compared to just two deaths at the same time last year.
It has been a horrible start to 2015 on the state's roads, prompting the Road Policing Superintendent to urge drivers to take more care.
Superintendent Grainger said on Sunday the string of road fatalities were of "tremendous concern".
