Huntley, from Creswick, has a broad background in sport, having been extensively involved in golf, lawns bowls and tennis in various capacities.

GOLF
Creswick Golf Club: life member, women’s champion 34 times, club captain for four years, pennant player for 50-plus years, treasurer for 13 years
Ballarat District: two-time singles champion, representative player for 28 years, president, treasurer and handicapper at various times
State: singles champion of champion finalists four times
BOWLS
Creswick Bowling Club: pennant premiership player, women’s president
Ballarat District: champion of champions, district state fours champion five times, district state triples champion three times, representative player
State: triples champion of champions, pairs champion of champions
TENNIS
Mt Prospect Tennis Association: three-time women’s singles champion, 10-time A grade premiership player with Lawrence, Lawrence treasurer, Ballarat Country Week player for 30-plus years with three titles.
