Kicking off on April 3 at the Trentham Mechanics' Institute Hall, this year's art and craft show will provide an opportunity for local emerging and experienced artists to exhibit their work and go in the running to walk away $500 richer.
Categories in this year's show include the Best In Show, Best Local Artist and People's Choice Award with a the new category Best Digital Media added to this year's mix.
Co-organiser Jill McCallum said the art and craft show has always been about highlighting the talents of local artists.
"Trentham and the surrounding region has an amazing number of artists and the show provides a unique opportunity for them to showcase their work in a local setting," she said.
"It is a reminder to our community especially, of just what talent we have in our midst and the importance of supporting that talent.
"We expect that the standard and diversity of this year's show will continue to surprise and delight our judges and visitors.
"The show has been running for over 10 years and has always drawn an appreciate crowd of both locals and visitors from further afield."
After noticing evidence of digital manipulation in several entries last year, Ms McCallum said it was important to open the new category of Best Digital Media to encourage the developments in artist's endeavours.
"We have awards for many different categories which entrants find very encouraging."
This year's judges are Trentham residents Catherine Abel and Dianne Longley with $500 awarded to the Best In Show.
Artworks will also be available for purchase over the three day event.
