A Chinese company which has purchased a prize pastoral property in Gippsland is now wanting to double the herd of its dairy cows to 1000, but not to pasture feed and milk, but to be fed like the chicken method in large sheds.
And what happens to the milk? No it's not for us, it's for their own 10,000 litres of fresh milk exported daily to China.
So when you see Chinese companies buying up, just think twice. They are only looking after there own food security, nothing else. Not much benefit will be received by the local areas or governments local or otherwise.
And watch out when they buy one of the biggest properties in Australia, the Kidman family business what a name to let go out of Australian hands. The slow boat to China is speeding up and we are the losers.
