DARLEY 21.18 (144) d MELTON 5.12 (42)
A dominant Darley side ran away 102-point winners over Melton at MacPherson Park.
It was a brilliant team performance from the Devils with seven of their nine goalscorers booting multiple majors, capped by Rhys Ellis with four.
The midfielders ran rampant as well, with Steven Kennedy, Nathan Lyons, Tate Stone, Anthony Chiu and Shane Page all magnificent in the engine room, while Darren Leonard and Nick Thacker stood tall down back.
The performers for the Bloods were few and far between but Lachlan Hickey managed three goals and Braeden Kight tried hard.
The Devils remain in fourth position despite the percentage booster, while Melton remains sixth.
NORTH BALLARAT CITY 22.12 (144) d SEBASTOPOL 5.8 (38)
Derrick Micallef and Shaun Lyle booted 14 goals between them in a dominant display against Sebastopol at Marty Busch Reserve.
The formidable duo helped themselves to seven majors each, simply proving too much to handle for the Burras' defence.
Sebastopol was gallant in the first half, before North City kicked 10 goals to nothing in the third quarter to run away with the match.
Serge Campana's return to the North City senior side saw the ruck/forward kick three goals, while Jason McNamara owned the midfield.
For Sebastopol, Toby Hutt kicked two goals and Ben McLeod was once again among the better performers.
LAKE WENDOUREE 15.18 (108) d EAST POINT 11.9 (75)
The final 33-point margin probably does not do Lake Wendouree justice, with inaccuracy in front of goal costing the Lakers a much bigger victory at Wendouree Reserve.
Lake Wendouree were in control for the majority of the day, with the Roos' disposal costing them dearly throughout the match.
The Roos mounted a fight in the third quarter but when Andrew Ciavarella kicked a goal from a free kick immediately after Angus Kirby had converted, the sting was taken out of the game.
Five players kicked two goals each for the Lakers (Angus Kirby, Lucas Anderson, Matthew Tuminello, Nathan Pring and Andrew Ciavarella).
Lincoln Barnes was named best on ground for his domination in the midfield.
BACCHUS MARSH 24.8 (152) d SUNBURY 11.11 (77)
The Cobras put on an attacking masterclass to bury the Lions by 75 points, in a bitterly disappointing display from the young Lions at Clarke Oval.
Peter Shepherd was the star of the show with a phenomenal 10 majors for Bacchus Marsh.
Declan Phyland, Jordan Barber and Ben Peters also put in good performances for the Parker Brent Cobras, while Jack Sheahan, Matthew Medcraft and Jack Landt were among Sunbury's best.
Sheahan claimed five goals of his own in what was probably his best performance for the Lions so far this year.
Bacchus Marsh now sits at 5-2 and is in fifth position on the ladder, while Sunbury has dropped to eughth with a 3-4 win-loss ratio.
REDAN 22.22 (154) d MELTON SOUTH 2.7 (19)
Redan were always going to be far too good for the young and depleted Melton South side - and they did not disappoint.
The GJ Gardner Lions dominated from the outset at City Oval and cruised to a 135-point victory.
Nick Willox kicked five goals, while Brenton Riordan and Jack Jess contributed four each.
Dean Matthews continued his rich vein of form and was once again named best on ground for the maroon and gold.
Lachlan Watkins and Daniel Vasjuta were the lone goal-scorers for the Panthers.
