Ballarat’s children and adults got their first taste of the city’s Movie Garden season on Friday and Saturday.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Ghostbusters and The Lion King were all shown for the kids, while parents were treated to Pulp Fiction on Saturday night.
Movie Garden organiser Beth Lamont said the idea had been a while in the making.
“From now on we’re hoping to do it a bit more regularly,” Ms Lamont said.
“It’s been in my head for a long time, it’s just finally come to fruition (and) it’s taken a while.”
She hopes the concept will become a monthly fixture on the Ballarat calendar.
