Zac needed five majors to reach his 100-goal milestone this season, entering Hepburn’s home game against Buninyong in the Central Highlands Football League under-15s. He made two steady goals in the second quarter then slammed on three quick goals to reach the feat in the third quarter.
Teammates and Burras’ under-18s players, including older brother Jordan, flooded the ground to celebrate.
Zac is the nephew of Western Bulldogs’ great Chris Grant but his hero is Fremantle midfielder Nat Fyfe – and he works to emulate the Docker right down to a similar shaggy Fyfe hair-do. Now Zac will turn his golden boot to try and bolster the undefeated Burras stay strong for finals.
*Zac Grant is The Courier Intersport SportzBiz junior sports star of the week and wins a $50 Intersport SportzBiz voucher.
