Sovereigns’ top team also had a training base in Bacchus Marsh. Elite men’s basketball team Ballarat Miners called on Bendigo legend David Flint as head coach the past two years with a succession plan in place for Eric Hayes to take the reigns this season. Flint is now Hayes’ assistant.
