Saturday, The Castle’s horses will celebrate turning another year older with a special birthday cake ‘baked’ by arena manager, Phillip Leitch.
“Following our 11.30am ‘Skill at Arms’ display visitors will be invited to sing Happy Birthday while the boys enjoy their birthday treat,” Mr Leitch said.
The horse-friendly cake consists of everything to tickle an equine’s tastebuds – oats, barley, soybeans, flour, golden syrup and carrot candles.
Goliath (aka Jeffery) and Tempest (Steven) will be celebrating their seventh birthday, while Warcry (Stuart) is turning six-years-old.
