Similar to the reality television game show, pupils worked in teams to complete an activity within 10 minutes and earn points, before moving onto the next challenge.
Assistant principal Clete Smith said the event was held as part of National Literacy and Numeracy Week, which is held from August 31 to September 6.
He said the race allowed pupils to work together in teams, which they received bonus points for.
“It also meant the older children could lead the younger children,” Mr Smith said.
The activities included tower building with pasta and writing alliterations for different animals. The event involved 165 pupils.
