BHS executive director Wendy Hubbard said the event was a chance for people to learn more about the range of programs on offer.
“Many people would drive past the Queen Elizabeth Centre regularly but not really know what goes on here,” Ms Hubbard said. “The aim of the day is to show people what services we offer in fun and friendly atmosphere.”
Displays will include exhibits on speech pathology, dietetics, occupational therapy, exercise physiology, orthotics and community programs and clinical services. There will be live music, a free sausage sizzle, an International Foto Biennale exhibition and Voice FM radio broadcast.
Queen Elizabeth Centre, in Ascot Street South, will be open this Sunday, from 10am until 2pm.
