The project included a new two room kindergarten, kitchen, entrance foyer, children’s bathroom, storage facilities and staff room.
The project was jointly funded with $600,000 from the state government and the City of Ballarat contributed $275,000.
ECKA contributed $30,000 to install a KinderGarden playground.
Ballarat Councillor Belinda Coates and Wendouree MP Sharon Knight officially opened the Landsborough Street kindergarten.
A new kindergarten has been built at Miners Rest while a facility at Lucas is due to be completed by 2017.
Eight other kindergarten upgrades have been delivered across Ballarat.
