A 73-year-old bushwalker will spend his second night lost in a national park in Victoria's north after he failed to return from a hike on Sunday.

The man left a note on his neighbour's door about 7am on Sunday telling them he was going for a walk in the Burrowa-Pine Mountain National Park, around 120 kilometres east of Wodonga.
His neighbours reported the man missing at 9am on Monday.
The man's car was found in the car park at the intersection of Ridge Track and Cudgewa Bluff Road, where police confirmed he had signed the destination book.
Local police, park rangers and search and rescue crews searched for the man on the Mount Burrowa Walking Track in Guys Forest on Monday, but the search was called off as darkness fell.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said the search would resume at first light on Tuesday.
