The sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout summer and spring while the Civic Hall Site Open Door Studio is open to the public.
Open Door Studio marketing and communications officer Ailsa Brackley du Bois said the Civic Hall’s front plaza would likely see increased use in the future.
“The plaza will always be there and it features in all the forthcoming five plans of the site,” Ms Brackley du Bois said.
“We hope it will become a community space for multiple events and outdoor activities.”
Ms Brackley du Bois said the lunctime sessions offered music lovers the chance to pack a picnic, sit back, relax and listen to some great local talent.
“Everybody is welcome to come along, bring their lunch and watch some quality local musicians perform.”
