Hill’s Pet Nutrition is raising awareness and up to $25,000 for pet shelters with its Food, Shelter and Love fundraiser until Friday, October 16. It will be donating $10 for each photo uploaded of families with their pets to the Hill’s Facebook page.
Pets Place Ballarat supervisor Lyn Zboril said Hill’s Pet Nutrition has supported the RSPCA since 1998.
"This fundraiser encourages Australians to volunteer, donate or adopt a pet into their family home," Ms Zboril said.
"Each year RSPCA Victoria finds loving new homes for more than 10,000 animals and we remain committed to helping people to find companions that fit with families, homes and lifestyles.
"Through the generous and ongoing support of the Ballarat community and our corporate partners, we were able to rehome more than 1,500 cats and dogs last financial year through both our animal care centre and Pets Place."
