The Doctor Blake Mysteries production team confirmed cameras would be rolling on more season four drama in the ABC television 1950s-style show about the city this week.
There will be temporary road closures along East Street South and night filming between Barkly Street and St Paul's Way.
The Courier understands Doctor Blake has some investigating to do at East Ballarat Fire Station.
Dr Blake's success in Australia has also now spread overseas, with the series picked up by the BBC as well as by stations in New Zealand and Europe, showcasing Ballarat as its stunning backdrop.
The show’s production team put out a call mid-last month for Ballarat residents to step in as extras for this stage of filming.
Rest assured that Craig McLachlan’s crime-solving doctor is still working hard to get to the bottom of Ballarat’s deepest twist and turns amid tales where no-one is safe.
