Do dogs and bikes mix?
I would like to give the bloke a serve this morning, who was exercising his dog while he was riding his bike. He he was going quite fast and the dog's legs were struggling to keep up.

I thought it was rather cruel making his dog run while he was riding his push-bike and I believe some people shouldn't be allowed have animals. If this person wants to exercise his dog why doesn't he get off his bike and walk the dog like other people do in the community?

24 hours wanting
I am extremely disappointed at the absence of reporting or reviewing of last weekend's event 24 Hour Experience Ballarat. It was a unique and marvellous project for our town. Around two hundred local artists and technicians were involved showcasing the town's skills with pride to a captivated audience.

no parole without funeral
Opposition Leader Matthew Guy has announced that, if elected, the Liberal Nationals Coalition will pass laws preventing murderers from qualifying for parole if they haven't provided police with details of where the body of their victim is.
Under Daniel Andrews, crime rates are increasing at an alarming rate, but there is no money in the Budget for a single new police officer. It is becoming increasingly clear that the 'soft touch' approach of Labor just doesn't work.
Most Victorians have now lost faith in the parole board. There have been far too many cases where criminals who aren't rehabilitated have had their parole rubber-stamped and it's innocent Victorians who have paid the price.
My Coalition colleagues and I believe the rights of victims and their families should be at the forefront of the criminal justice system. If elected, the Liberal Nationals Coalition will pass a law that prevents any convicted murderer of being released on parole if they have not provided police with the details on where the body of their victim is located.
Families have a right to bury their loved ones and they should decide the resting place, not murderers. This law would apply to convicted murderers currently surviving sentences, as well as all future convictions.
Joshua Morris, MP - Member for Western Victoria
Another letter to the Editor from Josh Morris, another example of immature, school yard politics. Once again, instead of telling us how he can improve our lives, e.g., by guaranteeing public transport suits our needs, he has chosen to attack the Labor Party for what he wrongly perceives as failure. At least twice before, he has attempted this tactic and both times been shown to be in error.
Firstly on public transport, with his attack on the regional rail link. The problem of insufficient rolling stock (trains) may have been caused by Labor, since they initiated this much needed project and perhaps did not understand how well used it might be. However, since the execution of this project happened on the Liberals' watch, they should have ensured its success by ordering enough trains to run on it. They did not do this, so therefore this is not the fault of the Labor Party.
Secondly, his attack on Labor regarding the Canadian Regional Park, which, despite Morris' assertions, was and is on track for establishment according the promised timeline.
With the new Prime Minister stepping away from the negative, bullying tactics of the former at a rapid clip, I would have thought that this kind of behaviour was no longer acceptable within the ranks of the Liberal Party. From any member. How disappointing that Morris has chosen to not change.
