Organised by the BRMC fundraising sub-committee, the Country Christmas Break-Up will be held to raise money for children in the Philippines.
BRMC fundraising sub-committee co-ordinator Georgina Vagg said funds raised at the event would give children in the south east Asian country the chance to enjoy Christmas.
She said participants were encouraged to dress up in a country and western costume to add to the end-of-year party’s celebratory feel.
The fundraiser will feature a smorgasbord meal, line dancing, lucky draws and a disco.
Held every year, it will also be a celebration of multiculturalism.
The Christmas Break-Up will be held at Cooinda Hall on Friday, December 4. Doors open at 7pm.
Tickets cost $30 and must be purchased beforehand. For bookings, call Georgina on 0408 109 471 or Annie on 0479 040 761.
