Hayes is the only Ballarat player in the side, which will take on the Victorian Metropolitan Cricket Union in Benalla on Sunday, February 14 from 10am.
The all-rounder has enjoyed a consistent season in the Ballarat Cricket Association firsts.
Hayes has made 312 runs at an average of 39 during 2015-16 and taken eight wickets.
He was also the captain of the Central Highlands under-21 team.
Meanwhile, the Two Swords are gearing up for their “Night with a Legend” event.
The club has secured Australian cricket great Jeff Thomson as the special guest for the function, which is scheduled for Saturday, February 20 at Miners Tavern.
